Steps to Delete Your Account:
- Login to Your Career Finder Account:
- Visit Career Finder and log in using your credentials.
- Navigate to Account Settings:
- Once logged in, go to your account settings. You can usually find this in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Access Account Deletion Option:
- Look for the “Account” or “Profile” section in your settings. You’ll find an option for account deletion.
- Initiate Deletion Process:
- Click on the “Delete Account” or similar option. Follow any additional instructions that may appear on the screen.
- Confirm Deletion:
- You will likely be asked to confirm your decision. This is to ensure that the deletion request is intentional.
- Receive Confirmation:
- After confirming, you should receive a confirmation message stating that your account deletion request has been received.
Types of Data Deleted:
Career Finder takes your privacy seriously. When you request account deletion, the following types of data will be permanently deleted from our system:
- Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, and any other details provided during account creation.
- Resume and Career Profile: Any documents or information related to your career profile and resume.
- Activity Data: Information related to your job searches, saved jobs, and application history.
Data Retention Period:
Career Finder is committed to deleting your data promptly upon account deletion. The retention period for deleted data is as follows:
- Personal Information: Deleted immediately upon account deletion.
- Resume and Career Profile: Deleted within 90 days of account deletion.
- Activity Data: Deleted within 7 days of account deletion.
Please note that some data may be retained for a brief period to comply with legal requirements or for the purpose of resolving any ongoing matters.
